How Do Night Splints Differ From Each Other?
Traditional night splints feature a padded shell running down the back of the leg and under the sole of your foot. They have straps on the sides that when pulled, apply an adjustable stretch to the soft tissues in your arch. Dorsal varieties are a little more lower profile and fit against the front of your ankle for a lower profile fit. Models are available that leave the foot in a right angle position, as well as, bend the foot upward for a mild stretch.
