Good wrist brace that's comfortable to wear all day

I've used this for the last 10 years. I had to finally replace my old brace because it was worn out. Does a good job providing the support my wrist needs.

Good brace for aiding carpal tunnel...

Good to aid with carpal tunnel pain. Sleep in brace to hold wrist in one position for healing as you sleep. Also, helps support wrist when holding tablet while reading Kindle books.

Very good

I like the how comfortable this product is i have tried several different ones. After my visit to the orthopedic where they tried to sell me one at triple the cost!! I bought this used and it looks brand new!! I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendonitis and all other braces hurt my tendinitis so bad I could not where them. Because the straps went around the side of my waist.

The splint works

I work as a web programmer and my hands started hurting. I bought a thumb brace at the convenience store, but it didn't work for me. My friend, an artist with carpel tunnel, recommend these. He said he's tried many braces and these were the best. When I got one, I left it on overnight and it worked like magic! Nothing else had helped my hand, but this did the trick. I don't wear it much during the day because it works so well at night, though I wear it any time I have pain. The fact that it's contoured to fit your hand makes it so you can use a keyboard while its on. A good choice for anyone who has pain associated with the wrist because it keeps the wrist straight.

Support and very comfortable

I have very bad tendonitis, and after the heavy snow fall we had a few weeks ago, I was left with my right arm (my dominant arm) in serious pain and agony. My husband ordered me this wrist brace from DME-Direct and it was here in just 2 days. The wrist brace felt so amazing on my arm, and didn't limit my mobility as much a others have in the past. My only complaint is that the straps were so gosh darn long we had no choice but to cut them. Of course that's also kind of genius too, since not everyone has the same wrist size and shape, being able to cut your own band size insures that it will fit you properly, so my complaint is void. This brace saved me a lot of pain and after having it on all day for two days and only giving myself a break at bed time, it was feeling better and almot back to itself by day 3. This brace is great sturdy quality and exactly what I needed. Also cost less than what I had paid for lesser quality ones in the past, so that was a great added bonus. The cushioning on the inside also felt great, much like my arm was resting on a pillow. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good supportive and comfortable wrist brace.

Cut the extra strap length...

Cut the extra strap length. This eventually seems obvious, but I spent longer than I care to admit before realizing this. Everyone will have a different experience with size and tightness but for me this seems to work perfectly and my Large fits perfectly.

Pretty Good

A long time ago I broke my wrist. After the cast came off, I remember having to take a prescription to the pharmacy and get something similar to this. Flash forward ten years and my wrist is killing me. Couldn't bend it backwards, lift things or turn door knobs. I needed time to heal this wrist but couldn't find my splint. I ordered this one from DME-Direct because it looked similar to my old one. Sadly, I liked my old one better. My old one was rigid, more stiff. I don't like how this new one lets my wrist bend back still. My old one wouldn't even allow my wrist to bend. It kept it locked in there. This one will do until I can get a script for a better one.

Worth every penny...

I have been wearing this brace everyday since receiving it in the mail a month ago. It works well and does the job at a good price. I am buying another one as a clean one to wear out to dinner brace. This brace keeps me from tweaking and over extending my wrist from side to side when I work. Note to everyone: set it snug but not too tight on your wrist and cut the access strap off just past the Velcro on the brace. Now tighten as needed and your good to go with no dangling straps. I read that some people didn't like the long straps in the comment section and dumb stuff like that. Worth every penny.

Does this brace have vertical supports on either side of the hand? How long are they? Are they rigid?
