The Donjoy UltraSling III AB Shoulder Sling provide immobilization for rotator cuff repairs, capsular shifts, Bankhart repairs, glenohumeral dislocations/subluxation and soft tissue repairs/strains. The De-Rotation Strap hooks to the UltraSling III and prevents internal rotation by securely holding the patient's arm in neutral position. It provides effective immobilization of the glenohumeral joint. The Donjoy UltraSling AB includes a large AB pillow that places the shoulder in greater abduction (45° to 60°). It's detachable and comfortable enough for all day wear.
Breathable extra padded fabric ensures greater comfort for patients involved in long term recovery. It helps prevent post-operative internal rotation contractures that can result in complications from wearing a sling. The Abduction pillow can be used to place the shoulder joint at 45 or 60 degrees abduction and sticks to the sling portion via a long hook and loop strip. Simply reattach the sling in the desired position and you're ready to go.
