The Donjoy MaxTrax Ankle Walker is designed to provide stability and comfort for a variety of lower leg, foot and ankle trauma injuries. The short height walker features a wider footbed and has a thicker foam rocker bottom sole for improved comfort during ambulation. The improved sole bottom greatly enhances shock absorption during each step. The MaxTrax Ankle Walker is perfect for patients with severe ankle sprains, metatarsal fractures, and soft tissue injuries of the foot/ankle. This walking cast boot also has swiveling D rings so that a parallel or a crisscross strapping method can be applied across the front of the ankle for better immobilization of the forefoot.
