The Donjoy FourcePoint Knee Brace Fource Point Technology was developed to further protect the ACL and enhance the Four Points of Leverage brace design. The patented Fource Point hinges are designed to react during leg extension and offer an increased resistance in the last 35 degrees of extension, in order to reduce extension shock and increase posterior tibial loads. The hinge has three adjustment settings to vary the amount of resistance to meet the specification of the physician's protocols The new FourcePoint hinge enhances the Four Points Of Leverage design built into every brace and helps it provide better protection for ACL deficient or newly reconstructed knees. The Donjoy FourcePoint has three adjustment settings to vary the amount of resistance supplied by the hinge box to meet every physician's protocol and the patient's comfort needs. The addition of a specialized supra condyle pad to grab better onto the bony contours of the inside of the knee, in addition to having swiveling strap tabs, helps the brace stay in place on your knee better than the competition. The brace is well suited for athletes returning to non-contact and contact sports and comes in both a standard as well as a short calf length to fit most individuals.
