DeRoyal LMB Spring Coil Finger Flexion Assist features coil springs to help flex the middle phalanx and are lateral to the PIP joint. While the proximal strap provides adjustable tension and needs to be positioned correctly to achieve good joint alignment, the dorsal pad softly distributes pressure. A superior joint can be flexed up to 80 degrees. The force provided by the LMB Spring Coil Finger Flexion Assist is greater than that of the LMB Finger Flexion Sprint. This DeRoyal 503 splint is recommended for soft tissue tightness and PIP extension. Measure the dorsal surface from the MCP center to the DIP to determine size.
