Featuring lightweight wire-foam construction, the device is is designed for simplicity and can be fitted in seconds. It product passively stretches the PIP joint into extension to help patients regain lost extension from a previous injury. Patients and clinicians can easily adjust the the amount of tension being produced for maximum comfort. The DeRoyal LMB Acu Spring PIP Extension Assist is designed to not interfere with the movement of the metacarpal phalangeal (MP) joint making the splint ideal for daytime and night time use as well.
