The Breg Solus Plus Knee Brace provides effective unloading with a single hinge design for patients with OA. Compared to double hinge models, the Solus Plus knee brace is capable of offloading with up to 10mm of telescoping thrust across the joint through it's condyle pad. It features a thumb wheel dial located on the outside of the hinge that's turned by hand to telescope the gel condyle pad inward for easy off-loading adjustments. This creates the amount of desired thrust necessary to unload the knee joint. The Breg Solus is made out of lightweight, high-strength aluminum and features ample padding under the thigh and calf portions of the frame. it's both effective and comfortable to wear underneath clothes for all day wear. The Breg Solus Plus knee brace is designed to treat mild to moderate medial uni-compartmental OA , and is ideally suited for normal to large size, fleshy individuals with disproportionate leg shapes.
